Hardox® For Agitators

Hardox®® 450 Plates Agitators are available in nominal hardness abrasion-resistant steel.

Hardox® 450 Plates Agitators has good bendability and weldability, as well as the option of assured impact toughness. These Agitators can be employed in a variety of wear-prone components and constructions.

Hardox® Agitators, which has an additional 50 Brinell hardness above our 400 grade, which delivers higher dent and abrasion resistance as well as extended wear life.  Brinell hardness, HBW, measured on a milled surface 0.5–3 mm below the surface according to EN ISO 6506-1. Hardox® 450 Agitators does not undergo or guarantee hardness testing. The hardness interval is a tensile strength conversion. The nominal thickness of the provided plates will not differ more than +/- 15 mm from the thickness of the hardness test specimen.
