Lower Control Arm
Control arms play a critical role in keeping both front wheels on the road. When the car is cornering, the lower control arms allow the suspension setting parts to rotate, resulting in a more comfortable driving experience.
Strenx 700 Cr Plates is used in Lower Control Arms works in tandem to keep the tire aligned as it moves up and down. The control arms in the front suspension of this pick-up truck were upgraded from 340 MPA yield strength.
The weight of the control arms is reduced by 36% or 2.7 kg. Simultaneously, static and dynamic performance, as well as fatigue effectiveness, were enhanced – at a lower cost than an aluminum solution.
