The anchor is active-tensioned after installation with a pre-determined force applied through a hydraulic jack.
Rock anchors are often used in situations requiring higher load capacities, like dam foundations, retaining structures, bridge abutments, and other key infrastructure where further active support is needed. They serve to counteract uplift, lateral, or downward forces on a building.
Key Differences Between Rock Bolt and Rock Anchor
