Kamlesh Metal & Alloy is a renowned Dual-Phase Steel producer and exporter. Our firm produces the product in several grades that satisfy international standards, and we can handle high volume orders from customers in a short amount of time everywhere allow us to be your preferred provider.
What is Dual-Phase Steel?
Ferrite-Martensite dual-phase steel is a low- to medium-carbon material with 5 to 50% volume.
The steel may also be bainite and restored austenite components in addition to martensite; these are often developed when greater edge stretch machinability is required.
The soft Ferrite phase is often constant in Dual-Phase steels, providing good flexibility.
What are the characteristics of Dual-Phase Steel?
Due to the carbon concentration in dual-phase steels, martensite may develop at practical cooling ratios, increasing the steel’s toughness.
Dual-phase steels have a high strain proportionate capability because of their high strain harden-ability.
What are the advantages of Dual-Phase Steel?
Due to its ferrite-martensite saturated grid microstructure, both hot and cold-rolled Dual- Phase steel provide an extraordinarily favourable combination of low yield, high tensile strength, easy cold working, and weldability.
Dual-Phase steels also have a bake hardening effect, a significant advantage over traditional High Strength Low Alloy steels.
What are the uses of Dual-Phase Steel?
Shock reinforcements, body side inner, quarter panel inner
Roof outer, door outer, roof outer, door outer, panels for the floor
Floor reinforcements, bodyside outer, hood outer, cowl, fender, and floor panel
The engine cradle, floor panel, and seat rails are all examples of body pillars.
